The Women's Fund of East Tennessee welcomes Elyse Kolbaba, who joined the WF team this summer as Communications Intern. A junior at The University of Tennessee, Elyse is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies with a minor in Journalism and Electronic Media. Since her arrival in May, Elyse has been assisting with updating the Women's Fund website, creating blog posts, coordinating social media efforts, and community outreach.

The Women’s Fund of East Tennessee recently announced the 2015 grant awards of approximately $100,000 to nine regional organizations working to improve the lives of women and girls in East Tennessee.

The mission of the Women’s Fund is to be a catalyst to transform the lives of low-income women and girls in a 25-county area of East Tennessee.
