A Statement from The Women's Fund
Thank you for helping us create opportunity for low-income women and girls to become self-sustaining in East Tennessee.
We are closely following the official information and guidance provided by the CDC and Tennessee State government and will cooperate fully with any restrictions placed on the types of events we host.
At this time, we are still working toward hosting our 9th Annual Women’s Fund Luncheon, October 15, 2020, 11:15 a.m., Marble Hall at Lakeshore Park, Knoxville, TN. However, while the funds raised at these events are critical to our ability to carry out our mission each year, it is our utmost priority to support all efforts to maintain the health, safety, and well-being of our entire community. To that end, we will continue to be vigilant in understanding the impact that these events may have on public health and will make bold decisions accordingly. If any plans should change, we will send updates to our entire community via email and post on our website.
As we navigate these unprecedented times, we are incredibly grateful for all the strong, dedicated supporters like you whose generosity and engagement ensure we are effective in transforming the lives of low-income women and girls. Sadly, we already know those women and girls need us more than ever as issues from COVID-19 are very unfavorable for women and children—adding to an already compromised existence. Together, we will continue to create a powerful impact no matter what challenges stand before us.
Together, we are the Women’s Fund, and we are breaking down barriers to education.
